³⁶ He saw Jesus, who was walking past them. John said, ‘Look! Here is the Lamb of God.’ ³⁷ When the two disciples heard this, they followed Jesus. ³⁸ Then Jesus turned round. He saw that they were following him. He asked them, ‘What do you want?’ They said, ‘Rabbi (which means “Teacher”), where are you staying?’
